Biography

I was born in a small town in New Brunswick, Canada, and spent most of my childhood bouncing from one Canadian city to the next, since my folks liked to move a lot. Our mode of transportation was usually the train. My folks usually packed two big trunks that contained everything of “value,” and we kids got to bring a box of our stuff. Those could parameters could shift to two trunks and a few boxes for them or a couple of boxes for us. There were no hard and fast rules, per se. We just roamed around a great deal, like gypsies. I’m not exactly sure why. I still don’t know. But that was my reality and I was totally fine with it.

I’ve lived a dozen lives, I think, and have had several career changes along the way. I’ll write a blog about that sometime. These days, in addition to being an artist, I’m a published author, a musician, and a vocalist. That’s not at all unusual.

Many artists in the world of entertainment also paint. To name a few, Anthony Hopkins, Lucy Liu, Paul McCartney, the Late David Bowie, Jim Carrey, Ronnie Wood, Pierce Brosnan…the list is extensive. I’m just one of many, most of whom are far better at entertaining or painting than I’ll ever be. I do these things because I love all forms of art. It’s that simple.
