I do a lot of book covers so I won’t show all of them here. These will give you some idea of my “style.” If you require an original book cover, let me know. Let’s talk about it and see what we can do.

To paint an original cover, I start with a huge sheet of foam core (about the size of a sheet of Bristol board. That will be the size of the painting. After the painting is done I usually get a photographer to take a high-definition picture that I can work with. I then take that into a graphics program where I do some digital enhancing, add text, and so on. It’s quite an involved process to get a cover painted from scratch, and even more work that it is to just do a regular painting, to be honest. However, the book covers that I do include front, back, and spine.

COST: When painted from scratch: $800 USD.

Alternatively, you can send me high-definition (at least 300 dpi) digital images to work with, and I can create a cover with those. More cost efficient for you, but you must own the copyright on those images. Includes front, back, and spine.

COST: When created from digital images: $200 USD.
